What is Aureus Circle and who is it for?

Aureus Circle is an invite-only business circle for Indian founders and CEOs who are serious about growing through trusted peer relationships. We are not a networking club — we are a deal-making ecosystem built on accountability, integrity, and curated human connection.

Our members are business owners with annual turnovers ranging from ₹0 to ₹100+ Crore, segmented into three circles so every conversation happens between professional equals.

How is Aureus Circle different from BNI or other networking groups?

The differences are fundamental:

  • Segmented by scale — you only sit with peers at your revenue level, not in a mixed room
  • No mandatory referral quotas — quality over quantity; your Trust Score reflects the value you add
  • Technology-assisted — our Referral OS matches deals to you 24/7, not just in the monthly meeting
  • Deal-first culture — structured around transactions and partnerships, not relationship-building for its own sake
  • Strict vetting — every member is personally interviewed; the room is earned, not bought
Is membership open or invitation-only?

Membership requires a nomination — either through a referral from an existing member or by submitting an application through our website. All applicants, regardless of how they apply, go through the same rigorous vetting process.

We do not sell seats. Every member is individually reviewed and interviewed before admission.

Can I attend a summit before becoming a member?

Yes. We run a limited Guest Programme at each summit. Guests are nominated by existing members and may attend one summit to experience the room before applying for membership.

What are the grounds for removal from the circle?

Aureus Circle has a zero-tolerance policy for conduct that undermines the integrity of the room. Members are removed immediately and permanently for:

  • Breach of trust or failure to honour commitments made in the circle
  • Misrepresentation of business financials or credentials
  • Confidentiality violations of any kind
  • Transactional misuse of fellow members (extracting without contributing)
  • Disrespectful or toxic behaviour toward other members

There are no exceptions, regardless of tenure or circle tier.

The Circles
What are the three circles and which one is right for me?
  • Launch Circle (₹0 – ₹1 Crore) — For founders in early momentum. Tactical leads, peer support, curated growth vendors.
  • Growth Circle (₹1 Cr – ₹20 Cr) — For scaling CEOs. B2B partnerships, investor introductions, high deal velocity.
  • Scale Circle (₹20 Cr+) — For industry leaders. M&A deal flow, institutional investors, closed-door CEO roundtables.

You are placed into the circle that matches your current annual turnover — not your aspirational one. This ensures every conversation in the room is between genuine peers.

Can I be in multiple circles at once?

No. Each membership is tied to a single circle. This protects the segmentation that makes every room valuable — if members could float across circles, the quality of conversations would dilute.

As your business grows past a turnover threshold, you transition to the next circle — this is treated as a milestone and celebrated within the community.

What is the Category Lock policy?

One member per industry category per circle. This means there is only one real estate developer, one SaaS founder, one logistics company owner in your circle — never two competing businesses at the same table.

Every person in the room is a potential collaborator, never a direct competitor. When you apply, we verify your category is open before proceeding to the interview stage.

What happens if my business grows past my circle's threshold?

Graduating to the next circle is a positive milestone. When your business crosses the threshold (e.g., from ₹1 Cr to ₹20 Cr+), you are invited to apply for the Growth or Scale Circle accordingly.

Your Club Points and Trust Score carry over. Your category slot in your previous circle opens for a new member. The transition is smooth and supported by the team.

🏛Summits
How often do summits happen and where?

Summits are held monthly — the third Friday of every month. We currently operate in two cities:

  • Mumbai — at five-star venues including Four Seasons, Taj Mahal Palace, and St. Regis
  • Pune — at JW Marriott, Hyatt Regency, and The Westin

Each summit runs from 6:00 PM to approximately 9:30 PM, culminating in a private dinner.

What is Smart Seating and how does it work?

Smart Seating is the algorithm behind our summit table assignments. Before every summit, the Referral OS analyses live deal requirements, open opportunities, and member profiles across the circle. It then seats members next to those with the highest compatibility for mutual value creation.

The result: you walk in and find that the people on your left and right are already perfectly positioned to do business with you. Deals that would have taken months of introductions happen over dinner.

What happens at a typical summit?

Every summit follows a structured but human-centred format:

  • 6:00 PM — Arrival and networking cocktails
  • 6:45 PM — Opening and circle updates
  • 7:00 PM — Member Spotlight (2 members present business opportunities)
  • 7:45 PM — Problem-Solving Circles (structured peer advisory tables)
  • 8:30 PM — Private dinner with smart-seated tables
  • 9:30 PM — Close

The format is designed so that every hour serves a distinct purpose — from inspiration to advisory to deal-making.

Is attendance mandatory?

Attendance is not mandatory in the strict legal sense, but it is strongly encouraged as it directly impacts your Trust Score and Club Points accrual. Members who attend consistently build stronger relationships and close more deals.

Consistent non-attendance (missing multiple consecutive summits without valid reason) is reviewed by the membership committee, as it affects the quality of the room for everyone else.

What is the Referral OS?

The Referral OS is our proprietary deal-matching application available exclusively to Aureus Circle members. It is not a social network or chat platform — it is a precision transaction interface.

Key features include the Deal Board (post and discover curated opportunities), the Privacy Shield (anonymous high-ticket deal posting), the Club Points Ledger, and your Trust Score dashboard.

Between summits, the OS keeps your deal pipeline active 24/7, so you walk into every summit with context and momentum already built.

Is the Referral OS a mobile app? When will it launch?

Yes, the Referral OS is a dedicated mobile application. It is currently in active development and will be available on iOS and Android for all members upon launch. Early members will receive access before the public release.

Members who join now will be part of the founding cohort and will help shape the product's features and roadmap.

How does the Privacy Shield work?

The Privacy Shield allows members to post sensitive or high-ticket deals anonymously on the Deal Board. Other members can express interest without knowing who posted the deal.

Only when both parties confirm mutual interest does the system reveal identities — protecting sensitive negotiations until both sides are ready to proceed. This is particularly valuable for M&A discussions, investment opportunities, and confidential vendor requirements.

Can deals cross circles (e.g., Growth member working with Scale member)?

Yes. While summits are segmented by circle, the Referral OS can surface cross-circle opportunities where the deal profile is relevant. For example, a Scale Circle member looking for a SaaS vendor may be matched with a Growth Circle tech founder.

These matches are carefully curated to ensure the deal dynamics are fair and appropriate for both parties involved.

How do I earn Club Points?

Club Points are earned automatically by the Referral OS for contributions to the community. Key earning activities include:

  • Closing a deal through the circle
  • Giving a referral that results in a deal
  • Posting a deal on the Deal Board
  • Nominating a guest who joins as a member
  • Attending a summit
  • Maintaining a high Trust Score

The more value you create for others, the more points you accumulate — automatically.

What can I redeem Club Points for?

Club Points can be redeemed for:

  • Full or partial membership renewal
  • Premium Referral OS features
  • Upgraded summit experience (VIP seating, Member Spotlight slots)
  • Access to exclusive events and private dinners

In theory, a highly active member can make their Aureus Circle membership cost nothing through points alone. The more you give, the more you get back.

What is the Trust Score?

The Trust Score is a data-backed credibility metric visible to all members in your circle. It is calculated from:

  • Deals closed through the circle
  • Quality and follow-through of referrals given
  • Commitments honoured vs. broken
  • Summit attendance record
  • Peer endorsements from fellow members

A high Trust Score makes you a more attractive deal partner — members actively seek out those with proven track records. It is your professional reputation, made visible and verifiable.

What does the vetting process involve?

Our five-stage vetting process includes:

  • Application Review — Business profile, turnover bracket, and stated intent
  • Digital Vetting — LinkedIn, business data, and online reputation checks within 48 hours
  • Category Lock Check — Confirming your industry category is available in your chosen circle
  • Nomination Interview — A 30-minute conversation with a founding member or the core committee
  • Onboarding — Welcome, Referral OS activation, first summit RSVP
Is my business information kept confidential?

Absolutely. The Aureus Code of Trust mandates full confidentiality for all members. What is shared inside the circle stays inside the circle — this includes deals discussed at summits, information shared on the Deal Board, and personal business details shared during vetting.

Confidentiality violations are grounds for immediate and permanent removal from the community.

How long does the application process take?

The initial digital vetting is completed within 48 hours of your application. The full process — from application to onboarding — typically takes 7–10 business days, depending on interview scheduling.

We move quickly because we respect your time. But we move carefully because the quality of the room depends on it.

What if my application is not approved?

Not every application results in an offer — and that is by design. The most common reasons for not proceeding include:

  • Category already occupied in your preferred circle
  • Turnover does not match any of the three circles
  • A cultural or fit concern raised during the interview

If not approved, we will be transparent about the reason. In many cases, applicants are invited to reapply as their business grows or when a category slot opens.

💰Pricing
How much does membership cost?

Membership pricing is communicated during the nomination interview and is specific to your circle and city. We do not publish pricing publicly — not to be opaque, but because the right conversation about value happens person-to-person.

What we can say: for high-value members, the deals closed in the first quarter typically return the annual membership cost many times over.

Is membership renewable and can I cancel?

Membership is annual and renewed each year. You may choose not to renew at the end of your membership term — there is no lock-in beyond the annual cycle.

If you have accumulated enough Club Points, your renewal may be fully or partially offset, meaning some members effectively pay nothing for their continued membership.

Are summit costs included in membership?

Summit access, including the structured programming and dinner, is included in your annual membership for your home city. Details on any premium add-ons or cross-city summit access are shared during onboarding.

Is there a referral benefit for bringing in a new member?

Yes. When you nominate a guest who successfully joins as a member, you earn significant Club Points — which can be redeemed for membership renewals or premium features. The more quality members you bring to the circle, the more your own membership benefits grow.
