Launch, Growth or Scale: How to Choose the Right Aureus Circle for Your Business

Aureus Circle has three membership circles, segmented by annual turnover: Launch, Growth, and Scale. Here is exactly what each one is built for, and how to know which one is right for you.

One of the first questions every applicant asks is which circle they belong in. The honest answer is almost always simple: your circle is determined by your current annual turnover, not by where you hope to be in three years. This is deliberate — it is what keeps every conversation in the room between genuine peers.

Launch Circle — ₹0 to ₹1 Crore

The Launch Circle is built for founders in early momentum — past the idea stage, with real revenue and real customers, but still building the fundamentals: their first reliable vendor relationships, their first outside capital, their first repeatable sales process.

What this circle actually delivers is tactical: leads sized appropriately for a business at this stage, peer support from other founders solving the exact same early-stage problems in parallel, and access to curated growth vendors who are used to working with businesses at this size. The value is immediate and practical rather than aspirational.

Growth Circle — ₹1 Crore to ₹20 Crore

This is the widest circle by turnover range, and not by accident — it corresponds to the stage where a business stops being a founder-led operation and starts becoming a company with real infrastructure. The problems here are different in kind, not just degree: B2B partnerships that require real due diligence, investor introductions ahead of a growth round, and a deal velocity that a founder can no longer sustain purely through their own personal network.

Growth Circle members are usually past product-market fit and squarely focused on the operational and capital questions that determine whether they cross into the next bracket at all.

Scale Circle — ₹20 Crore+

The Scale Circle is built for industry leaders — founders and CEOs whose businesses are established enough that the conversation shifts from "how do I grow" to "how do I compound." M&A deal flow, institutional investor access, and closed-door CEO roundtables are the currency here, not tactical lead generation.

Members at this level are as valuable to the room as they are to each other — a Scale Circle member's network, capital access, and operating experience is frequently the single most useful resource a Growth Circle member can tap into through a cross-circle introduction.

What Happens When You Outgrow Your Circle

Graduating to the next circle is treated as a milestone, not an inconvenience. When your business crosses a threshold — say, from ₹1 Crore into Growth Circle territory — you are invited to apply for the next circle accordingly. Your Trust Score and Club Points carry over in full; nothing resets. Your category slot in your previous circle opens up for a new member, keeping Category Lock intact for everyone else.

A Few Honest Notes on Getting This Right

  • You cannot select your circle aspirationally. Placement is based on your current, verifiable turnover — not your five-year plan. This is what protects the value of the room for everyone already in it.
  • Membership is tied to one circle at a time. You cannot hold a seat in two circles simultaneously, even during a transition period — this keeps the segmentation meaningful rather than symbolic.
  • Category Lock applies within each circle independently. One real estate developer, one SaaS founder, one logistics operator — per circle, not across the whole network. So a category being taken in Scale Circle has no bearing on whether it is open in Growth Circle.
The right circle is not the one that flatters you. It is the one where every person across the table has actually solved the problem you are currently working on.

If you are unsure which bracket your business falls into, the nomination interview is the right place to work it out — it is a two-way conversation, not a form to fill in correctly on the first try.
